Nobody’s Perfect INC. is a non-profit agency that was formed in January 2006. Our mission is to provide vocational training to individuals living with cognitive and/or intellectual disabilities.
We are a qualified vendor of the state of Arizona. Along with teaching vocational skills, we try to teach about giving back to the community, helping others about our environment and the importance of keeping items out of our landfills.
1- Why are you fundraising with Planet Green?
Nobody’s Perfect has a state (Arizona) contract to pick-up new/used toner cartridges and inkjets. We employ 11 individuals with disabilities on this contract. On average, monthly, we keep over 800 of these items out of landfills, with hopes of a lot more! Recently we obtained the contract to do the same with Maricopa County.
2- How long have you been fundraising with Planet Green? How much have you raised so far?
Over the last 8 years, we have dealt with several companies such as Planet Green. Our relationship with Planet Green started in 2010 and so far we’ve raised $4,660.
3- How did you hear about the program?
I don’t recall how I heard about Planet Green, however, once we established a relationship, my search for a professional ethical and honest company ended.
4- What do you think about remanufactured ink cartridges?
My thoughts on re-manufactured ink cartridges… I am all for remanufactured ink cartridges if the quality is there. Remanufacturing ink cartridges keeps them out of our landfills and is great for the environment.
5- What are your recommendations for anyone who’s considering the program or is new to it?
I don’t have any other recommendations for those considering your program other than what I stated previously, in regards to having dealt with several companies over the years, and once I connected with Planet Green, my search was over.
6- Do you have any concerns about the environment, e-waste, etc.?
Nobody’s Perfect main focus is to help disabled adults and with our state and county contracts. We are all doing what we can to protect the environment.
Just a side note, we don’t consider our relationship with Planet Green as a fundraiser, the selling of inkjets and toner cartridges pay the hourly rate of our 11 trainees.
