In January 2007, Planet Green began a partnership with TreePeople to plant trees on Los Angeles Unified School District campuses. It is the ideal partnership; rewarding local schools for recycling empty inkjet printer cartridges, while improving the health of our campuses through sponsored tree plantings. Our vision is to expand the tree canopy in the Los Angeles area, while removing cartridges from our landfills and improving public and environmental health.

If your Los Angeles Unified School District school would like to get involved, please read more regarding our planting qualifications, print and return the Planet Green Memorandum of Understanding, and start collecting printer cartridges today – for a greener tomorrow!
