Planet Green in the Community
When we’re not busy writing checks to thousands of organizations nationwide, we like to meet our neighbors! Here are just a few things we’ve been doing locally.
Donations
 What started out as a Holiday idea has turned into a regular printer donation service. Planet Green supplies printers to needy school libraries, teachers and computer labs. And we throw in some free remanufactured cartridges, of course!
News
 We’ve even been on the local news! Check out this “Going Green” segment by the Los Angeles NBC station.
Tours
 We love visitors! We give tours to groups of students from local schools, showing them how remanufacturing works and why it’s important to recycle. We answer all their questions, encourage them to fundraise for their schools and finish up with free pizza!
E-Waste Events
 Keep an eye out for our regular E-waste events, which invite local businesses and residents to drop off their E-waste for free recycling. E-Waste goes to a California facility that is a signatory to the Basel Action Network (BAN) and DOESN’T ship your stuff overseas!
Community Events
 Have you seen us yet? We speak at schools and table at events on a regular basis, promoting the message of sustainability, recycling and easy fundraising!
